A Visit from Italy and GameX/Comicon Weekend! <3

In the beginning of last week I got a visitor aaaaaaaaaaall the way from Italy! JadeFelt, one of my awesome assassin minions, decided to come and pay me a visit i my home town a few days before we go to GameX/Comicon 2015! 😀 ❤ I live in a really smal town so there is not really much to see but I gave her a tour of our town, took her to her firs swedish fika, we played games, watched movies and had a great time!

Then on Thursday it was time to go to Stockholm for the con on friday! We were gonna have kind of a stream family meetup at the con so I was really exited and a bit nervous to meet everyone. But omg everyone is just as awesome IRL as they are in the stream chat! Thank you so much for coming to meet me and eachother guys! I had a great wekeend! I love you all! ❤

There were ALOT of awesome cosplayers at the con! I posted tons of photos on my facebook, CLICK HERE to see them all! ^^

In my opinion the con was good BUT there were not enough games! 😦 The games aspect of GameX/Comicon were really small, not enough to play or to buy! 😦 But it was still a great experience and I had so much fun! ^^ Hanging out at the con, we went to a halloween party in Stockholm, we got a bit lost tryig to go back to the hotel because of lying signs and a GPS that told us to go in circles (left, left, left) ;D, played games in the hotelroom.. Summary: Great weekend! ❤ Already looking forward to next year! ^^ ❤

On monday the con was over but me, Peter, Jade and DragonDalek still had one day left to spend in Stockholm so the awesome Likilato offered to give us a mini tour! First we went to visit a gamestore in I’ve wanted to visit for a long time, Stockholm’s Serie & Skivhandel! A small and very cosy store FILLED with games! If you are lucky enough to live in the Stockholm area you have to pay it a visit! So many games and such a nice staff and owner! ❤ Oh, don’t forget to check out his instagram!

We also played LaserTag! (I now know I can’t aim at all IRL) xD It was quite a workout tho! I kida wish we had one in our town maybe I could get some exercise! xD We also stopped by a place that had some pinball machines! 😀

Then we went to Webbhallen that probably has the coolest game themed interior design possibible! :O ❤ Games built into the tables, Metal Slug wall and screens on the wall showing streams! 😀

BEST TOILET EVVAH!!! ❤

I really wanted that Journey paintig! So amazing! ❤ And of course the Grim Fandango one too! Both would look really good on one of my walls! 😀

Blue Potion Cafe! 😀 I wish my kitchen looked like Minecraft! xD ❤ Oh and I stared talkig briefly to a guy sitting next to the counter here and working on a game, if there is a small chanse you are reading this I totally forgot to say: Good luck with your game! It’s gonna be great! 😀

Loved the Portal hallway! And they had twikies at the cafe so we had to try them! ^^

And thank you so much to the awesome Webbhallen employee that gave me some Assassins Creed Syndicate posters and pillar! And of course thanks to Likilato for asking if they had anythig they didn’t need anymore of course! 😀

We had never tried Starbucks so as an ending to the tour we just had to try it! It was amazing! :3

After an awesome weekend together it was time to go home! I’m gonna miss all of you but atleast we see eachother in the stream! ^^ And I’m gonna start saving for next years GameX right way so I have more to spend, there was so much stuff I wish I could have bought! But I didn’t go home emptyhanded, here is the loot I got this weekend! 😀 ❤

On gameX I adopted a kitty and a little batman! ^^

I also got Nintendo earrings and necklace!

Jade also bought me these as a gift! Thank you so much! ❤ I love them! You are so sweet!!! (I did find a space for it btw!) xD ❤ ❤ ❤

At Stockholm’s Serie & Skivhandel I really wanted to buy EVERYTHING! xD But this I what I came home with!

When I buy games I often go by what the front looks like, does it have a cool cover? SOLD! xD So I really couldn’t resist Utopia! The cover image is so amazing and well done! You can really tell someone put alot of work and heart into making it! ❤ Betrayal just sounded cool so I got that one too! 😀

I also got Bedlam with the overlay and box for the Vectrex, a new Dreamcast since mine is kinda broken, The Ottifants for Sega Master System, Ecco the Dolfin for Sega Megadrive, Heavenly Sword for Ps3 and the swedish version of Chicken Little for ps2! (It was only 10 sek (Like 1$) so I thought it could come home with me too! Haha!)

I had a great time and I can’t wait until next year! Everyone start saving NOW so we can have a even bigger stream family meetup next year! ^^ ❤

Oh, btw… Have I ever told you guys how difficult it is to take pictures of stuff in an apartment that has 3 cats i it?? xD Well I made 2 mini comics to illustrate! xD

Amiga Night! <3

Last night I had to cancel the stream because my arm really is in pain after I went to the doctor (they were gonna take a blood sample and managed to damage the vein so it’s been bleeding out in the arm, Now I have to be careful and let it heal so it doesn’t burst again) And my arm really starts hurting if I keep it still for too long so sadly I had to cancel! 😦

I was really bummed out about the stream and not being able to play so I didn’t know what to do. Then it hit me, I haven’t played Amiga in FOREVER and those games take forever to load anyway so I can stretch my arm and stuff while it loads! xD

I had a great time re-playing some of the games I used to play as a kid, some I could only play for a little while because of the arm thing, mostly games using the joystick, and some games didn’t work anymore! 😥 Like Trolls and Mega Lo Mania, the games started but crashes right before the actual game starts :((
I also wanted to play one of my favorite games as a kid, The Adventures of Willy Beasmish, but it wouldn’t even start! x'(( It might be because of my amiga, it has been acting a bit weird, but I still had a good time playing the games that DID work! ^^

Duck Tales froze if I took a dive in the money vault, so to play it I just had to resist the temtation x)

I was always very facinated by this game as a kid, the music was so beautiful and wellmade! :O Reminds me of Final Fantasy music a bit! I could never play it properly tho because we never had the manual for the game and could not input the password in the beginning, I played on a “demo” option called practice so I could never get far. But now thanks to the magic place called “the internet” I could find the codes online! xD Still the game froze after a while and I could not really play, atleast I could enjoy the music =)

I love the simplicity of the mission, “just kill everyone” x)

Any swedes out there who remember Kalas Puffs Expressen? x) I used to play it alot as a kid. It’s a game made around a breakfast cereal brand called Kalas Puffar. You are playing as a bee and a bear, the old mascot of the brand, going around with a train collectig these honey/weat puffs, putting honey on them gives bonus points and lastly pouring them into a big Kalas Puffs box at the end of each course 🙂

The Amiga night ended with me falling asleep on the couch while playig Another World! I’m definetly gonna do Amiga night again, it was alot of fun and very nostalgic to play there games again! ❤

RSM 2014!!!

Omg this weekend was so much fun even though everyting did not exactly go as planned! x) We arrived in Gothenburg really late the day before, so we didn’t get much sleep, we had a cosplay emergency that needed to be taken care of before we could even go to the convention and there was a 2 hour wait in line before we even got in! x( At least we saw some awesome cosplayers while waiting and there was a Mario walking around giving people hugs! ^^ It’s not everyday you get to hug your childhood hero so of course I had to capture this opportunity! xD haha! This guy cosplaying wheatley from portal was great! So hilarious! xD Check out his DeviantArt if you want to see more! ^^

When we finally got in it was awesome!! Alot bigger than last year and soooooo much people! There was so much stuff to look at, I was so busy browsing I totally forgot abot taking pictures, so I only have a few from inside! (I never got close enough to find out what this thing was but it looked so weird and funny) xD My brother and his daughter came with us to check out the con! ^^ She is such a sweetheart! She also bought some games! ^^ I got to meet these two too! Such nice guys working at a game store called Spel och Sånt here in sweden! ^^

The amazing Charles Martinet was at RSM this year! He is the man behind the voice of Super Mario, Paarthurnax from Skyrim etc. What an great guy! He had such energy and he was suuuper nice! He was at the con the whole day signing autographs and talking to fans! ^^

And last but not least… I’ll show you my loot! 😀 My autographs from Charles Martinet! (He gave me one extra because I was so nervous I forgot to tell him the card was supposed to be for my sister x) So I got 3 in total!) This is a press kit of Assassins Creed! With a beautiful metal box witch will look awesome in my AC shelf! ^^ My brother bought these two for me! ^^ (THANK YOU) The reason he got me the Xbox Live is, and I quote “Now you have no exuse, buy Dark Souls 2 and play with me online” I guess you are right big brother Haha! x) This is Odama for Game Cube (Japanese) Such a pretty box! :O I just had to buy this game! (I don’t even have a C64) x) But this front art is just too cute! 😀 Look at the mouse! Awwwwww xD Last year I bought a Link hat at RSM so I thought I would keep the tradition going by buying a new fun hat! So I got a Mario hat this time! ^^

And now! The best buy of the day! 😀 I hesitated a bit because of the pricetag but after really thinking about it I knew I would hate myself if I didn’t buy it! After all I’ve been looking for it for yeeeears! And this one is in super good condition with nothing missing! And this in a way completes my FF collection! Yaaay! ^^ (At least from one end, they will probably never stop releasing them) Haha! Wow! This post got long! Sorry about that! xD Hope you liked it anyway! **Hugs**

My Collection! Episode 1!

I was asked by Likilato on Instagram to show some of my collection! (He is a fellow swede and game collector, check his IG page out! It’s great! ^^) Well anyway, since he asked I thought “why not show it all!” 😀 My collection is not the biggest out there but I have a bit of everything! ^^ First off I thought I would show my Sega and Amiga stuff! Ok let’s check it out! Sega Master System, Everything you see here in this picture was found in a trash room a few years ago! :O Yep, you heard me! Someone had just thrown this beauty and all the games out! Well, one person’s trash is another onces treasure! Lucky for me! ^^

Sega Mega Drive, I’ve had the megadrive since I was a kid. I remember playing Sonic 1,2 and Wonder Boy over and over! x) Ahhh memories!

Dreamcast, have you ever played Chuchu Rocket?? It’s so much fun! xD And am I the only one who thinks the Dreamcast controller looks kind of like a little space ship? No? Only me maybe! x) lol!

Amiga 500, I have spent maaaaaany of my childhood hours playing amiga games! Super Frog, Trolls, Monkey Island, Loom, Cool Spot, Cannon Fodder, Escape From Colditz, James Pond Robocod, Pirates, The Adventures of Willy Beamish… The list goes on! ^^

Amiga CD32, Wonderful console! Many memories here too! ^^

And as a bonus I’ll throw in my…
Vecrex!!! I love it! It’s so charming how they said you could play games “in color” using the Vectrex. Well, the color comes from the plastic screens that comes with every game, you just put it on the screen an VOILA! Color! ;D lol

Final Fantasy 7
I have played this game like 50 times and I could play it 50 more! I don’t need to tell you why I would save it because it’s awesome! I love this game and it would probably be the first I grab! ^^

Super Mertoid
Awesome game! Such a cool cover! And this also was a gift from a dear friend so that makes it extra special! 🙂

The Labyrinth of Time
This game… omg! This takes me back to my childhood! How many hours I have spent playing this game, making my friends play it with me, over and over… haha ahhh memories x)

Silent Hill
The game that started off an awesome horror series! (some of them better than others 😉 ) This is the game that first planted the seed of my love for horror games and this was also a gift from another dear friend (Such awesome friends I have :””””) *sob* <3)

Conker’s Bad Fur Day
NONE of my friends share my love for this game.. but I DON’T CARE! xD I love it! I mean what’s not to love?? It’s an awesome platformer packed with humor and parodies! There is no way I will let this one go up in flames!

Omg this was sooooooooo hard! x( I wanted to change the title to 10 or even 20 so many times! x)) But after alot of back and forth this is my 5 games I would save… What games would you save from your collection?? =)
