Cosplay Worries…

My very first time cosplaying was last year at a game-con called GameX here in Sweden. I started making my costume really late and didn’t finish it until like 4am the same morning as the day of the con (I still was not 100% happy with it =P ) But still, it was really super fun and I was so pumped up about making a new and better one for this years GameX! I’ve decided what I want to do (It will be a suprise ;D) but I think I might have taken on too much x( I’ts less than 100 days left and I havent even started! And I never really done anything like this before either… But I really want to do it! Oh the agony! x) Where do I start?? I’m such a cosplay noob… I really hope I find the inspiration I need to get myself started soon so we can have as much fun this year too!

Hack’n SLASH!

Both me and my brother recently bought ourselves a PS Vita so we thought we would have a little gaming session =) After looking trough store we found a game that seemed like fun, Dungeon Hunter: Alliance. It’s a roleplayer game hack’n slash style, reminds me alot of Untold Legends for psp. Think “diablo-light” =)

It was actually quite fun! There are three classes to choose from (warrior, mage and rogue) I played a warrior (there is nothing more fun than to run into a horde of monsters swinging a two-handed weapon like crazy, riiight?? xD ) My brother played a mage. The game setup is nothing new for people who has played diablo and such games before (Do quests, level up, train skills, save the world) =)
You also have a little fairy with you whom you control with the back of the PS Vita, she trows spells and aids you in your battles. The game also supports online play with upto 4 players, seems like a nice game even though it was cheap! =)

A Gamer In Gothenburg!

Oh well! My vacation just flew by! The last week of it was spent in Gothenburg here in Sweden, we where visiting my brother and his family for a few days. On the 7 hour train ride it takes from where we live to get to Gothenburg I was mostly asleep but I also got some gaming done. I played Patapon 1 on PSP! (patta patta patta pon) ^^
When we finally arrived in Gothenburg we went to an amusement park called Liseberg =)

We pretty much rode all the carousels and they were all fun, but there was one who only inflicted pure terror…. AtmosFear! It’s the second highest free fall in the world! I thought my video gaming days were over… either I die from fear or the fall! X) But luckily I survived and after our close death experience we went to the arcade to calm down a bit, and I ate the biggest ice cream I’ve ever seen! ^^

I brought my 3DS on our trip cuz I thought I would get lots and lots of Street Pass hits (since I was in a big city and all) but I only got 4 in total =( Bummer.. I guess I’ll have to wait until november when GameX in Stockholm is due! When it was time to hop on the train again for the 7 hour ride home I was feeling a bit retro πŸ™‚ I played through some old Game Boy games: Kirby’s Dream Land 1 & 2, Super Mario Land 1 & 2, Balloon Kid and came about halfway through Trip World before we finally got home…

Space Hamster!

 photo null_zpsa6aaadc7.jpg

Awwwwwww! Of course I need a space hamster! ^^ So cute! And it doesn’t seem to require me feeding it! Perfect! (Since I don’t want it to suffer the same fate as all the poor fish I bought so far) xD If you’re busy trying to save the universe and stuff It’s not easy to remember to feed the fish!

I’ve been really hooked on Mass Effect 2 the past days! And I love it!! There is sooo much to do and I feel there is alot more depth in the quests compared to Mass Effect 1! Don’t worry, I won’t write any spoilers =) I’m really enjoying the loyalty quests, you get the chance to bound more with your comrades. And there is alot of different types of personalities to get to know and learn their stories.. I like it, but I don’t know if Joker agrees with me.. =)

Mass Effect is awesome!

I’ve been playing Mass Effect for a few days now and I must say I like it alot more than I thought I would! The story is really gripping and exiting! My urges to go back to skyrim is slowly wearing off, maybe I don’t have to go to skyrim rehab after all! ^^

I’m a little disappointed in shepards romantic options so far though, I didn’t really like kaidan that much from the beginning. He was the only one who constantly died in fights, and he started flirting right away : P But I turned him down! Then the blue chick with a squid on her head (liara?) started flirting as soon she came on board! But I don’t swing that way, whatever way hers may be since they don’t seem to have a certain gender X) I hope I get more options further along the game..! Like garrus! He is really cool and for some reason I just love his voice! πŸ˜€ This led to me listening more to the sound of his voice more than what he was actually saying… And this happened =)
